Yeah, I think Jacob got the short end of the stick. He's a decent guy and a good character, but he gets overshadowed by the likes of Garrus and Thane and that one unfortunate line the script writers gave him for the romance scene. That, and they had FemSheps automatically sound like they're coming on to him whenever they talk, which rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.

I am afraid making him the only human male LI is what gives him the "bad name". Sadly BioWare understands nothing from Female Shepard romances. I am not much impressed from the Garuss/Thane romances either :/... Then again seems Male Shepard gets all the good stuff. His LI have more personality and are also very different not only as a attitude but also as a looks and they are mostly the human kind. Male Shepard had the choice Fem Shepard doesn't have.That is just unacceptable! -_-
Then again Jacob is a good friend to femshepard.He is really better as friend than LI- IMO anyways. That is why I always end up drinking beer with him on the Citadel.:XD: :D

Yeah he never bothered me, in fact no character from Mass Effect bothered me except Tali because she could talk up a storm in the first game. Like her now though :) lol
